Our 2025 Annual Colored Pencil Show "Vibrant Hues: A Kaleidoscope of Colored Pencil Art" is now closed for submissions. The online show opens October 6 on our website. Thank you to all who submitted artwork!
We are thrilled to showcase some of the most talented colored pencil artists in Illinois and other parts of the Midwest!
For 2025-26, we will meet four times:
October, January (via Zoom), March, and May.
We look forward to colored pencil demonstrations on techniques and supplies, supportive critiques before exhibits, and discussions about lightfastness of various colored pencils.

Come join us for a day of art, fellowship, and nature at our chapter’s fall retreat!
We’ll gather at the home of member Linda Hilderbrant in Hampshire, IL on Saturday, September 13, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm (rain date September 20).
Since this is a retreat, the main goal is to relax, have some art-related fun, and connect with each other. To facilitate that, we’re offering a few options for you to choose from, including:

Your local Chapter 103 Chicago annual dues are due by October 31st. To renew (or join) you also need to be a member of the Colored Pencil Society of America (CPSA).
👉 For CPSA renewal, most current members must also renew by October 31 to receive To The Point magazine and other benefits, including maintenance of signature status. NEW members will have a renewal date that matches their initial join date.

January-October we meet at the St. Charles Public Library in St. Charles at 1:30 pm unless otherwise noted. We have guests, workshops and demonstrations.
